The RUBIN-AMI Alliance
The Thuringian RUBIN-AMI alliance consists of 12 partners and links Thuringian commercial enterprises with local research institutions in the field of multimodal imaging and its application.
With their competencies, the alliance partners represent the entire innovation chain of multimodal imaging. This innovation chain is characterized by the following elements:
-
Sensor design and simulation: design of optics / electronics / mechanics, simulation on component and system level,
-
Sensor and component technologies: electronics development and design (technical design), opto-mechanical sensor components (filters, (micro)optics, projectors),
-
Sensor assembly: manufacturing technologies for bringing together all sensor components,
-
Sensor data processing: preparation of raw sensor data to the sought measurement values,
-
Data calculation / analysis: preparation of measured values, data fusion, web-based technologies,
-
systems: Merging the five elements above into individual sensor systems, e.g. an illumination unit, a 5D sensor system, and others,
-
Application integration: realization of the application-related solutions, integration of the sensor technology into the specific application task at the customer and extraction of the target information from the customer's point of view.
